As reported by RNN in May, TikTok has launched TikTok Resumes last week as a pilot, offering video resume applications for job seekers. The social-media giant - used by 55% of people aged 18 to 24 - will be partnering with employers including Shopify, Target, Chipotle, NASCAR, the Detroit Pistons, and others in launching the platform. The pilot will run from July 7 through July 31 via the app.
How it works
Many participating companies have used organic and paid posts to promote their participation in this pilot run and the opportunities available. The Detroit Pistons have even brought in a Detroit born rapper to promote their campaign, as shown here.
