A forward thinking and commercially-savvy HR Business Partner with more than 15 years of HRM experiences in regional roles across Asia Pacific, Cyl has acquired experiences across various industries that includes Life Sciences, Technology, Oil & Gas. She provided strategic HR leadership in matrix organizations across cultures and regions to unlock potential through nurturing a high feedback and high performance culture.

She undertook roles to drive HR Transformation in areas like Organizational & Leadership Development, Continuous Improvements in Talent Management Processes for organizations in the Asia Pacific region in view to focus on compliance, accelerate business growth & sustenance and provide employees with developmental and career growth opportunities.

Prior to joining DKSH Smollan, Cyl has been a seasoned HR, Talent and Learning Practitioner and has conceptualized, designed and implemented regional projects such as a consistent & standardized Recruitment & On-Boarding processes across Asia with the help of her Asia HR team and the introduction of Predictive Index as a talent selection and developmental tool to assess the suitability of potential incumbents. She designed and created the first Lego Experiential Learning that enables employees to increase their self awareness through action learning with Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Coding. She also led the Digital HR Transformation projects leveraging on technology and partnering closely with her country HR teams, internal communications and the local IT community etc.

She also led the Global People Experience Project alongside with 7 regional HR leaders across US, LATAM, Australia, Germany etc. to identify the moments that matters to employees that positively impact the employees' experiences in the arena of Talent Acquisition & On-Boarding, Performance Management, Rewards & Recognition, Work Life Balance etc.    

Cyl graduated from Murdoch University, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Double majors in Human Resource and Business Management) and she also holds a Master of Business Administration.
