Drew Newsome

Drew is an upbeat and passionate talent acquisition professional who loves connecting with people and making a positive impact on their career. His favorite part about recruiting is connecting people with their passions and helping them achieve their professional and personal goals.

Drew brings over 6 years of full cycle recruiting experience, coming from both the corporate and agency side. He comes from background in recruiting for Accounting, Finance, Business Operations and Administrative Services. Drew has spent the last 3 years specializing his recruiting in the Federal IT space supporting roles from public trust through TS/SCI covering Help Desk, Infrastructure O&M (Windows, Linux, VMware and MacOS), Security, Full-stack Application Development (Java & .Net), Cloud (AWS, Azure & GCP), and DevOps. He is experienced supporting the Civilian Health, Federal Civilian, DHA and DoD arenas.

Drew recently joined NetImpact Strategies as Senior Technical Recruiter to help grow their Civilian Health program.

Drew is a proud Mountaineer and WVU alumni where he graduated with a degree in Business Management.

Outside of work, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica and their 5-week-old son, Tucker. The Newsome’s have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 7 chickens. Drew is an outdoor enthusiast and spends his free time hiking, camping, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, and gardening.
