With over 14 years of talent acquisition experience and thousands of hires over my career, I’m excited to join MYR Group to lead the talent acquisition function for our greater organization consisting of 11 operating entities across North America. I feel the recruiting function is critical in partnering with hiring managers and candidates to help them connect in a more genuine way. I am also passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives and have helped organizations develop their diversity and employer brand attraction programs. My recruiting experience includes staffing agency, high volume, specialized industries, federal contractor, and corporate environments.
Continuing education is important to me, and I hold a bachelor’s degree from Ashford University, double majoring in organizational management and business information systems. I also hold several certifications including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR), Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC), Certified Transform Recruitment Marketer (CTRM), Lean Six Sigma, and am one step away from a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate.
I’ve been called a change agent a few times, and I guess that’s fitting. I like to dig in and improve the systems and technology we need to be effective in TA, so we can put recruiters’ time back where it should be – connecting talent!
