Sonal Bhardwaj

Sonal Bhardwaj has joined IT major Capgemini as Head of Talent Acquisition, Financial Services, UK. Bhardwaj brings in over 16 years of recruitment experience in the Information Technology industry. She joins Capgemini after working with Wipro for more than 15 years, most recently in the role of Head of Talent Acquisition, Europe. In this role, she led the Talent Acquisition function for Wipro and its group companies for Continental Europe and Africa.

Before Wipro, Bhardwaj was Human Resources Executive at Sterlite Industries, where she was a graduate hire in the Human Resources division and was deputed at an aluminium foil manufacturing unit in Kolkata. Her responsibilities included managing all HR activities for the corporate workforce of the plant.

Her core competency is in building talent strategy with a business partnership, lead large hiring assignments with global teams, drive operational excellence, work with C level executives and provide thought leadership for the overall function.

Bhardwaj holds PGDPM in Industrial Relations and HR from Xavier Institute of Social Service and BCom from Sarojini Naidu College.
