Bayard Advertising, a family owned and venerable 97-year-old recruitment marketing agency, is announcing its acquisition by Shamrock Capital. According to the press release, Shamrock: "focuses exclusively on investing in media and entertainment businesses, including agencies, media publishers, entertainment firms, and technology platforms. They want us to stay who we are, as we are, and with their support, insights, and resources, grow and reach our fullest potential." Details of the deal were not disclosed.
