ERE Moves Spring Event to Virtual-Only

Martin Burns

March 12, 2020

In what is becoming simply a tolling bell, ERE joins the ranks of conference providers who are announcing cancellations of their in-person conferences. They will, similarly to SourceCon Seattle (SourceCon is an ERE property), be holding the entire event online.

We wanted you to be the first to know that we have made the decision not to hold the in person ERE conference in San Diego next month because of the increasing Coronavirus concerns around the world. The safety of our speakers, attendees, sponsors and staff is extremely important to us which has lead us to this decision. Instead, ERE will be going DIGITAL!

Welcome to the new normal. I have to wonder, with UNLEASH Spring still going ahead next week in London, will we see massive attendance drops, particularly with travel bans springing up globally?

EDIT: Never mind. UNLEASH just threw the towel in. It's going to be interesting spring. On the plus side, considering how late some of the after-parties run at these events, maybe this is a silver lining in terms of overall liver damage. So we've got that going for us.

ERE is announcing they will move their San Diego event online and cancels the in-person event.
