In this edition of LinkUp's quarterly report, there are promising signs of recovery from the coronavirus pandemic, including a more than 10% increase in active job listings over Q4 2019 and a leveling off of job demand volatility.
Overall the change in active job listings was more than 6% in Q4, which is nearly an exact flip from Q4 2019 when jobs were down -5%.
An impressive 49 states saw gains over the quarter, leaving South Dakota as the only state that saw a loss in active listings.
Job demand volatility continues to flatten after the substantial increases witnessed in Q2 2020, followed by a stagnant Q3.
The top 3 occupations were identical to what we saw in Q4 2019: Sales and Related; Healthcare Practitioners and Technical; and Food Preparation and Serving Related.
