In the wake of Indeed's Hiring Lab reporting that HR job openings have risen 120% above pre-pandemic levels, it's not much of a shock that recruiting roles would follow a similar trend.
What's interesting is today's surge in recruiting positions. Keith Schneider, a New York City based recruiting VP with Engro Partners tweeted yesterday that 4,600 recruiter roles had been posted on LinkedIn over the past 24 hours.
Apparently I checked too early in the day and the number is significantly higher now 🤷♂️ https://t.co/Vy9E8t1jqk

Which seemed like a lot. But... yeah. Not really. Not anymore, anyways.
As of this article, there were over 14,000 recruiter jobs on LinkedIn in the past 24 hours. That's over double the average daily rate of 6,600 postings per day over the past 30 days.
It gets better: Indeed is showing over 16,000 results over the past 24 hours for the search recruiter OR "talent acquisition" (while filtering out job boards).
It does feels good to feel wanted.
