Would you allow the nurse at your doctor's office to perform your surgery?
Would you want your hostess at a fine dining establishment to double as your chef?
Would you let your dealership's service advisor also work on your car?

Early in my career as a professional recruiter, I discovered this systemic flaw. Years later, leaders in various industries would come to me desperately seeking help with a "recruiting problem."
