Erica is an Assistant Professor at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. She is also a Canadian CPA with a background in public accounting, audit and tax.
Erica conducts research on how technological disruption impacts professional work. She is currently conducting research on how remote working arrangements impact how individuals engage with their work, colleagues and clients. Given her background as a CPA, Erica studies how accountants behave and communicate within accounting firms. However, her interest is in thinking broadly about how professions are changing, especially in light of new technologies (like blockchain) and the on-going crisis of expertise.
Erica holds an MBA, an LLM and a PhD.
