HireClix, a leading recruitment marketing services company, today announces the availability of its new Welcome Back functionality for HireClix-powered career sites. The new feature is designed to help returning candidates leverage the time they have already invested on a career site, delivering a more intuitive and personalized job search experience while reducing common sources of candidate frustration.
During the job search process, candidates frequently discover a promising role or an open job opportunity of interest, only to get pulled away by time constraints or everyday distractions. When returning to a career site, candidates are typically forced to restart their search, hunting down the previously explored roles, and rebuilding momentum – a repetitive process that can lead to frustration and application abandonment, similar to how buyers abandon shopping carts on e-commerce sites. The HireClix Welcome Back functionality eliminates this friction by recognizing returning candidates in a way that respects their privacy and restores their most recent job search activity.
“Employers invest heavily to attract candidates and showcase their employer brand on their career sites, but too often that momentum is lost when candidates are forced to start over,” said Neil Costa, CEO and Founder at HireClix. “The Welcome Back functionality on a HireClix Career Site helps employers make it easier for candidates to re-engage with their jobs and their employer brand. This personalization and recognition of candidates' past visits protects that investment by making it easier for candidates to re-engage and improves application conversion rates.”
The Welcome Back functionality uses secure local storage to retain a candidate’s recent activity, including search terms and the last-viewed job. When job seekers return to the career site after a period away, the Welcome Back personalization engine provides the user with an acknowledgement of their recent visit by showcasing the last job they viewed and their most recent queries, allowing candidates to effortlessly resume their job search. In addition, prospective candidates can pause, snooze, or opt out of the Welcome Back functionality, giving them as much control over their privacy and candidate experience as possible.
