HireClix, a leading recruitment marketing services company, today announces the launch of its Quick Apply functionality – a career site enhancement that lets candidates apply directly from the career site by seamlessly passing their information into the applicant tracking system (ATS). This allows employers to convert high-intent candidates more easily, bypassing cumbersome logins and long forms.
Typically, when an applicant is ready to apply, they are taken from a career site to an ATS login page, unnecessarily complicating the candidate experience. In today’s market, these extra steps can discourage high-quality applicants. In fact, according to HireClix’s 2025 Candidate Experience Survey, 36% of job seekers abandon an application due to length or poor navigation, so reducing friction to make the journey from job seeker to applicant is an important priority.
“When we help recruiting teams thoughtfully recognize ways to improve the candidate experience, we give their employer brand a boost and help them attract a higher caliber of talent,” said Neil Costa, CEO and Founder at HireClix. “Too many systems and solutions ignore the basic needs and behavior of the applicant, and as a result, organizations pay the price for that bad experience. Their employer brand is impacted by this negative experience, discouraging quality candidates who may choose to opt out of a challenging application process.”
The Quick Apply functionality is available to customers leveraging HireClix’s enterprise career site solution, and integrates with all major applicant tracking systems. Quick Apply can be added universally across all jobs, if an employer is in need of more applicant volume, or the functionality can be applied to specific jobs or job segments that need the extra boost of applicants. For example, highly technical candidates often get discouraged by an ATS apply process because of the time it takes to complete, but a HireClix Career Site with Quick Apply would allow them to complete a handful of custom fields, selected by the employer, to rapidly express their interest in the opportunity.
“While the Quick Apply functionality successfully supports any job posting, it’s especially beneficial for extremely difficult-to-fill and niche jobs. When the potential applicant pool is already small, recruiters need to reduce friction so they create an ease of use uncommon in most career sites for hard-to-find candidates. Quick Apply ensures those in-demand candidates don’t have to suffer through a long and arduous application process, with the goal of getting enough information into the ATS that the recruiter can engage the applicant,” Costa continued.
