Kanarys announced a $3 million Seed round of VC for its platform focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The components of the platform are tools we’ve seen before: employer branding, a job board, and an analytics platform. Kanarys has applied this HR tech for good – aiming to impact diversity, equity, and inclusion. They look to leverage job and company search, employee reviews, demographic statistics, and D & I news to help candidates navigate the job market with an eye on D&I, and employers better understand how they’re really doing regarding the matter.

It’s good to see some new solutions and investor money flowing into this category.

We only tracked USD $9 million across four deals that were strictly focused on D & I. This would not include tech products that have some capabilities focused on D & I, but not in their core focus.
