Restaurants across the country are struggling to hire workers. McDonald's, which has been making news for its fight against raising its starting pay to $15 per hour, is facing a hiring crisis. Corporate, as well as franchise owners, have been coming up with a variety of approaches to increase hiring volumes - one franchise owner in Florida is offering candidates $50 just to show up for an interview.

Now, one of their restaurants in Illinois is advertising a free iPhone if new hires stay for at least 6 months.
