Looks like the market will have a new neuroscience-driven psychometric assessment to compare to Pymetrics. U.K.-based Arctic Shores’ raised USD $5.5 Million for its gamified psychometric tests for recruitment.

Gamification does improve the assessment experience, however, most of the batteries of games still amount to a costly and time consuming endeavor that is normally reserved for later stage or finalist candidates. In other words, they are still tools that narrow the field of candidates to a selection point.

More innovative assessment tech is finding ways to reduce the cost and time associated with the assessment, allowing it to be used much earlier in the hiring process. Resulting in a tool that can uncover more candidates in the “recruiting pipeline.”
