UK-based hundo Raises USD $2 Million for GenZ and DEI Recruiting While Teasing Moves to the Metaverse and Ed Tech

UK-based hundo announced a $2M Seed Round of venture capital funding for its GenZ and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)-focused employer branding solution. The round was led by Ascension VC.

hundo touts their ability to attract GenZ talent with a special focus on diversity. All this while being pre-Series A and pointing to the metaverse as its next destination. Oh, and squeezing in a new ed tech product. Unless it’s raising one of the biggest Series A rounds we’ve ever seen, hundo needs the same piece of advice we give every startup: FOCUS. There are a lot of problems to solve in recruiting and for the future of work, but in order to scale the kind of experience and quality they claim to deliver to clients, they ‘d be wise to narrow their scope.

$13.7  billion was invested globally in work tech through Q3 2021 across 299 deals. WorkTech Market Insiders can access insights and analysis of all of the deals in our Q3 report with a free membership.
