I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from Penn State and serve as an adjunct instructor in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. I love the opportunity to interact with students and share my love of writing with them throughout the semester. I teach a class on freelancing in the gig economy, which is drawn from five years of freelancing on Upwork. I pitched the class to the Bellisario college after identifying a need for the gig economy to be covered as part of the communications curriculum so students are prepared for the working world they will enter after graduation.

I am also an active freelance writer for local, national, and international clients. I love to write and look for opportunities to do so as much as I can. Projects I've worked on include news articles, blog posts, and case studies.
