It’s National Intern Day: Ten Early Career Work Tech Innovators To Watch

‍

10 EARLY CAREER WORK TECH INNOVATORS TO WATCH

Interns. Some view them as the future leaders of tomorrow. Some see them as a boost of productivity in the workforce during the dog days of summer. Others see them as a way to give back and mentor young professionals discovering their career paths in an ever-changing world of work. They can be all of those things and more. If it wasn't for interns, WorkTech's famous VC database would probably still be in development!

Our friends at WayUp created National Intern Day in 2017 "to help bring attention to the challenges and inequalities that entry-level candidates face in the workforce." They view interns as "a real opportunity to change the makeup of the workforce for years to come." We agree. Each year they do a good job calling attention to the best internship programs and even list some of the top interns.

We've certainly seen an increase in attention to internships, apprenticeships, and early-career hiring spurred by the shifts in work due to the pandemic and the talent shortage in the market. We've seen some innovative approaches to early-career hiring cross our desks as we watch the emerging work tech providers. This seemed like a good day to highlight a few of the innovators. The work tech innovators that help you find, hire, and retain the students, new grads, and early career up and comers.
